According to police, 20-year-old Markese Reese of Verona was arrested just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of an acquaintance on Chaske Street in Penn Hills.

On Monday night, police identified Reese as a person of interest in Wilson’s death. Investigators say they were once in a relationship.

According to the criminal complaint, Reese and the victim had allegedly been fighting over money. The criminal complaint reports a witness told police they heard a “boom” coming from an upstairs bedroom and then saw Reese covered in blood.

Neighbors reportedly saw a man running from the home.

In their search for Reese on Monday, police converged on a motel in North Versailles and a home in Penn Hills, but they didn’t find anything in either location.
