Ramon Foster: Tomlin Has Been Asking Brown To 'Give Me Something New'

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Steelers OL Ramon Foster joined "The Fan Morning Show" for his regular weekly spot on Tuesday to talk about the team following a 30-9 win over the Browns.

Foster said that something made this win particularly special for the Steelers.

"Remember last year, they had a complete party at their stadium when they beat us," Foster said. "So, I had a little chip on my shoulder still from that, but that's the AFC North for you right there."

Foster can't for the life of him figure out why the Browns continue to struggle so mightily, standing at 2-8 now.

"Defensively...they have a lot of really good talent," Foster said. "From [Paul] Kruger all the way across the board, they are really good up front. Their linebackers have a lot of experience. I'm not sure what their issue is or how far they are off from being a really good program. But, Manziel did his thing. He did the stuff that he did in college. He made plays out of nothing, and he improvised in a good way. So, I'm not sure. The O-line has been ranked really high. They have good quarterback play. The running back positions have been good. I'm not sure exactly what it is with them, but I'm just happy that we got that win."

Following Sunday's game, there was a lot of controversy surrounding Antonio Brown doing a front flip while running into the endzone during his fourth quarter touchdown reception, which bothered some fans, many analysts, and even Brown's quarterback, because of the potential for injury.

Foster thinks that people need to appreciate the beauty of the move more.

"I don't think people understand how athletic that is," Foster said. "For him to be going that fast, and stop and do a two-footed front flip and land it. That's been the talk everywhere I've gone. Everybody's asking about the flip. I think it's got its own name now, like 'The Flip.'  So man, that is exciting. Coach T always asks him, AB, I'm tired of your old tricks, give me something new. I think that's something new, and it was pretty amazing in my book."

Still though, Foster echoed a popular sentiment among those that have given Brown props for the flip.

"Hopefully, it's just a one-and-done thing," Foster said. "Man, I don't need it, I don't even want to hear about [the possibility of Brown getting hurt celebrating]. I've seen guys just jump up and down, like vertically, and something bad happened. AB's very flexible, man. He's a great athlete. Hopefully, that's the only time he does that."
