Man Robbed During Pizza Delivery In Hazelwood

Police say a 43-year-old man was delivering pizza to a house in the 300-block of Winston Street. The man knocked on the front door, but no one answered.

He then felt something being placed against his back. One man demanded the victim hand over the money and the two pizzas, and a second man took the money and pizzas from the victim. The suspects then ran down Winston Avenue toward 2nd Avenue.

Officers responded to the report around 10:50 p.m.

The victim was not injured and although he felt an object being placed against his back, he did not see a weapon.

One suspect is described as a black male, about 18 years old and 6-feet-2-inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery. The second suspect is also described as a black male, about 18 years old, 5-feet-10-inches tall and around 170 pounds with a large build. He was wearing a black coat at the time of the robbery. Both suspects had their faces covered.
