Firefighters Rush to Fully-Engulfed Home in Westmoreland County
HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Firefighters had to rush to a burning home in Westmoreland County early Thursday morning.
The fire started around 1:30 a.m. at a home on Slate Run Road in Hempfield Township.
When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. The fire chief told us that the home has been vacant for some time.
The fire destroyed the house. No one was injured.
Officials will be looking into the cause of the fire.
