Steelers Players Sign Autographs To Support Children's Health Program

McCANDLESS (KDKA) – Steelers players took pictures and signed autographs for fans Monday night to raise money and awareness for a good cause.

A few Steelers players, including DeAngelo Williams and Martavis Bryant, made an appearance at the Dick's Sporting Goods in McCandless. Fans paid $25 each to get autographs and pictures with the players. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Allegheny County's "fitUnited" program, which aims to improve children's health.

The first 225 people lined up for the event were guaranteed autographs, and some passionate fans even slept outside the store to guarantee they'd be among the first in line.

"We live in Ohio, it's about a 3 and a half hour drive," fan Brandon Reisinger said, "and we got out here around 1 a.m. Set up a tent right outside, plugged in a heater."
