County Homicide Detectives Arrest Man For Deadly Clairton Shooting

CLAIRTON (KDKA)- Allegheny County homicide detectives have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting in Clairton.

Police were called to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Maple Alley around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. When officers arrived, they couldn't find a victim or suspect at the scene.

A short time later, officers were called to Jefferson Hospital for a man who showed up with multiple gunshot wounds. That man, 22-year-old Isaac Cole of Glassport, died from those wounds.

Allegheny County Police say Cole was rushed to the hospital by friends and family.

"Through the course of our investigation, we did develop a suspect," said Lt. Andrew Schurman, of the Allegheny County Homicide Unit. "Right now, the motive is not exceptionally clear, but we do believe there was some type of ongoing dispute between the two parties."
