PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Emergency crews were on the scene of an accident involving a Port Authority bus downtown Thursday afternoon.
Police and EMS responded to an accident at the intersection of Stanwix Street and Liberty Avenue around 3 p.m.
Witnesses say a Kia cut in front of the bus in traffic. The bus hit the bumper of the car, and the bus driver slammed on the brakes, causing some bus passengers to get tossed around.
Minor injuries were reported, but no one was sent to the hospital.
One man said his fiancee slammed her chest off a bar, and he hit his cheek.
