PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Excitement was running high in Steeler Nation with dreams of a 7th Super Bowl victory after the Steelers secured a spot in the playoffs Sunday.

“It’s very hard to watch both games,” Nancy Chuba of West Homestead said.

“We’re just hopeful we get a win,” fan Walter Visage said. “We gotta count on another team, and that’s not the situation you want to be in. But we’re really hopeful that they pull it off.”

As the Steelers began to pull away, fans watched what was going on in the Jets-Buffalo game even closer because even if Pittsburgh pulled off the win, playoff hopes still hinged on the Jets.
