PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Excitement was running high in Steeler Nation with dreams of a 7th Super Bowl victory after the Steelers secured a spot in the playoffs Sunday.
Steelers fans are, well, Steelers fans — always hopeful. But going into Sunday’s game against Cleveland meant the Steelers had to win, and the New York Jets had to lose in their game against the Buffalo Bills. “This day is giving me an anxiety attack, going back and forth,” Ryan Cosloy of the South Hills said. “But it’s a great day for all of us.”

“It’s very hard to watch both games,” Nancy Chuba of West Homestead said.
“We’re just hopeful we get a win,” fan Walter Visage said. “We gotta count on another team, and that’s not the situation you want to be in. But we’re really hopeful that they pull it off.”

And at the end of the day, fans did get everything they had been hoping for, at least for this week.
