NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person is dead after a crash in Washington County.

Emergency dispatchers say it happened around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Thomas Eighty Four Road and Route 519.

According to the Washington County Coroner’s Office, Bryan Harrison, 57, was traveling west on Thomas Eighty Four Road when his vehicle left the road and hit an electronic road sign.

Harrison was not wearing a seat belt.

Canon-McMillan School District officials were told that some bus routes may be affected by the backed up traffic from the crash.

Investigators are working to determine what caused Harrison to leave the road.
