Rimersburg Man Facing More Than 2,700 Counts For Alleged Rape Of Child

RIMERSBURG (KDKA) - A Rimersburg man is facing more than 2,700 charges related to the alleged rape of a child.

That's according to a criminal complaint filed by the New Bethlehem Borough Police Department.

In the complaint, Thomas Eugene Curry, 65, is accused of multiple sexual offenses between June 24, 2011 and June 23, 2013:

  • Rape, Felony 1, 208 counts
  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Felony 1, 208 counts
  • Aggravated Indecent Assault, Felony 1 208 counts
  • Incest, Felony 2, 208 counts
  • Statutory Sexual Assault, Felony 1, 208 counts
  • Kidnapping, Felony 1, 208 counts
  • Sexual Assault, Felony 2, 208 counts
  • Aggravated Indecent Assault, Felony 2, 208 counts
  • Indecent Assault, Felony 3, 208 counts
  • Corruption of Minors, Felony 3, 208 counts
  • Intimidation of Witnesses or Victims, Felony 1, 208 counts
  • Terroristic Threats, Misdemeanor 1, 208 counts
  • Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1, 208 counts

 

The document states that the alleged abuse happened while the victim was ages 11-12.

Curry was released Saturday after posting $25,000 cash bail. He is due back in court on February 2nd.
