PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It’s supposed to be one the best days of your life, but it could also be the most expensive.

But there’s good news if you’re planning a wedding in the Steel City, according to a new study Pittsburgh is the 3rd most affordable city for a wedding.

SmartAsset says Pittsburgh rated well for its concentration of wedding support personnel like floral designers, musicians, and photographers.

The number of hairdressers, tailors, and dressmakers also factored into the study.

According to TheWeddingReport.com the average cost of a wedding in Allegheny County is $27,262.

In 2014 the average cost of a wedding in the United States was $31,213.

New Orleans, and Nashville took the top two spots in the study.
