Bricelyn Street Home Badly Damaged In Fire

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- An East Hills home was badly damaged when a fire broke out Friday night.

Emergency crews responded to the fire on Bricelyn Street late Friday evening.

There was no word on what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.

Almost 21 years ago, three City of Pittsburgh firefighters were killed in a fire on Bricelyn Street. The man convicted of starting the fire, Gregory Brown, will be re-tried for the case. Another fatal fire broke out in a home on the same street in February 2015, almost 20 years to the day of the 1995 fire.
