Steelers Fans Featured In NFL 'Super Bowl Babies' Commercial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Data suggests that nine-months after a Super Bowl victory winning cities see a rise in births, that's according to a new commercial from the NFL.

The NFL has released a new "Super Bowl Babies Choir" commercial ahead of Super Bowl 50.

The commercial features babies, children and adults who were born nine months after their parents' favorite team won the Super Bowl.

The "Super Bowl Babies" all join together to sing in a parody of Seal's hit song "Kiss from a Rose," with Seal himself even singing along.

The commercial even features some Pittsburgh Steelers' fans born after the team's win in Super Bowl X, in January of 1976.

Carson Lutchansky was born after Super Bowl XIII.

"So when a mommy fan and a daddy fan love each other and they win the Super Bowl, nine months later there is a Super Bowl baby," said Lutchansky.

Eli Pievach and Michael Grayson were born after the Steelers victory in Super Bowl X.

"My parents were in Miami for Super Bowl X, and nine months later," says Pievach.

Grayson, who was born in 1976, says it took him a few years to figure out what his parents were up to when the Steelers defeated the Cowboys.

"You don't want any more details. We don't want to give you any more details; we're all good, and left it at that," said Grayson.

Anita Levels, also a Super Bowl X baby, gets a solo in the commercial.

"It's the part when they talk about after the Super Bowl fans were filled with desire, and I come in with 'filled with desire!' says Levels.

The choir ranges from the 49-year-old Green Bay Packer babies, all the way down to the one-year-old Seattle Seahawks babies.

But not every championship team made the cut.

"New England and Baltimore were intentionally snubbed, I believe," said Grayson.

"They got Tampa Bay in there, but no New England," added Pievach.

The NFL released the commercial on YouTube in an attempt to "recreate one of the greatest love songs of all time to celebrate the greatest game of all time."

If the stats hold true, look for a big boom in babies in either Denver or Charlotte about nine months from Sunday.

Super Bowl 50 is February 7th, right here on KDKA.
