PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- You may see a lot of red around town today, that’s because people will “Go Red For Women.”

The annual “Go Red for Women” day is a way for the American Heart Association to raise awareness of women and heart disease.

Heart disease and stroke cause one-in-three deaths among women each year. That is more than all cancers combined.

The American Heart Association says many of the heart disease deaths are preventable.
