Nemacolin Couple Found Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a Greene County home Thursday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 200-block of March Avenue in Nemacolin around 8 a.m. The coroner was also called to the scene.
Officers say they believe this to be a murder-suicide and that the victims appear to be a husband and wife.
The Greene County Coroner's Office identifies the couple as Louis and Mary Sue Drotos, both 67. Lou, a retired miner, and Susan, a retired nurse, are parents to two grown children.
"This is something I never thought would have happened," said Larry Plavi, a family friend.
Sources say Lou Drotos made a call to 911 before taking his own life.
