People Strip Down For Annual Cupid's Undie Run

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The shockingly cold temperatures didn't stop people from stripping down and running for a great cause.

The annual Cupid's Undie Run was held Saturday in the North Shore. More than 1,000 people showed to run in their underwear.

The event benefits the Children's Tumor Foundation and this year's run raised $300,000. People are encouraged to put on their best pair of undies, but not everyone was so scantily clad.

While people were thrilled to be supporting a great cause, the frigid temperatures made it tough to enjoy.

"Very cold, might be the dumbest thing I've ever done," joked one jogger.

According to its website, Cupid's Undie Run takes place in 36 cities and raised $3.5 million last year.
