St. Bonaventure Holds Off Duquesne, 80-76

ST BONAVENTURE, N.Y. (AP) - Jaylen Adams scored 24 points, Dion Wright hit 3 of 4 free throws in the final 20 seconds, and St. Bonaventure hung on to beat Duquesne 80-76 on Wednesday night.

With the victory, St. Bonaventure (19-7, 11-4 Atlantic 10) remains one game behind Saint Joseph's, Dayton, and VCU, who are in a three-way tie atop the conference standings.

With the score tied at 72, Adams hit four straight at the line for a 76-72 Bonnies lead. After Wright made 1 of 2 free throws, the Dukes TySean Powell made a layup which cut it 78-76 with 11 seconds to go. But Wright nailed his next two at the line, and a Derrick Colter missed 3 on the ensuing possession for the Dukes sealed it.
