Police Trying To Track Down Man, Van Involved In Frazer Twp. Burglary
FRAZER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Frazer Township Police are asking for help to identify a man wanted in connection with a burglary.
According to Frazer Township Police, the man broke a window in the front door of a house in the 1800 block of Bakerstown Road around 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The man, believed to be in his 50's or 60's, stole electronics, including a television.
A surveillance camera captured the man and his vehicle. Police believe he cut himself and may have injuries to his arms. The suspect was driving a silver Dodge or Chrysler minivan with passenger-side damage and no hubcaps on the passenger side.
Frazer Township Police Chief Terry Kuhns told the Tribune-Review that the man knocks on the door to determine if anyone is home before breaking into a house.
The same suspect is accused of trying to burglarize a home on Butler Logan Road about a half hour before the Bakerstown Road break-in.
In that instance, police say he knocked on the door and a woman answered the door. The suspect came up with excuse for why he was there and left.
