Local Man Sentenced For Stealing His Dead Mother's Social Security Benefits

GROVE CITY (KDKA) -- A Grove City man has been sentenced for stealing his deceased mother's social security benefits.

United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced Thursday that Alexander Viskovatoff, 57, used funds from the Social Security Administration that were intended for his mother.

Viskovatoff will serve two years probation and full restitution of $27,309.85 on his conviction of theft of government property.

United States District Judge Cathy Bissoon imposed the sentence.
