GREEN TREE (KDKA) — Thirty members of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary turn out each Wednesday at the organization’s warehouse in Green Tree to sort fabrics and yarn for the 28th annual Fabric Fair.

She says the materials are donated, year round, by local residents.

“We always get a lot of fabric, and it’s always nice fabric that we can use. And quilting people use the smaller pieces,” Huff says.

The fair will take place at the Salvation Army temple on McNeilly Road.
