PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police arrested three teenagers in connection to a shooting incident in Northview Heights that took place Friday morning.

According to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, a 61-year-old woman was at a Northview Heights home Friday morning with a 40-year-old woman and a 7-year-old boy when she heard gunshots outside around 8 a.m. When police arrived on the scene, they found a bullet hole in the living room window and casings on the sidewalk outside. No one in the home was injured.

Police found a pistol during the investigation, and they identified three suspects with assistance from the housing community's security.

Police say the three teenagers -- ages 14, 16 and 17 -- were later seen on Hazlett Street. Police detained one suspect and a K-9 officer detained the other two when they tried to run.
