Time Running Out To Get Discount On Allegheny County Property Tax
PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The deadline is almost here to get a discount on your 2016 Allegheny County property taxes.
If you pay your property taxes by tomorrow, March 31, you will receive a 2 percent discount.
If you don't pay tomorrow, you have to pay the full amount by April 30.
The Allegheny County Treasurer's office will stay open until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday to take payments.
You can also pay online at the Allegheny County Treasurer's office website.
If you wait until after May 1, your property taxes will be considered delinquent.
