New Netflix Series Being Filmed In Pittsburgh Looking For Extras

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A new Netflix series being filmed right here in Pittsburgh is looking for extras.

"Mindhunter" is set to begin filming next month and continue through December. The new series focuses on two FBI agents who were pioneers in behavioral profiling in the 1970s.

The series is produced by Charlize Theron and David Fincher and will star Pennsylvania native Jonathan Groff, of "Glee" fame, and Anna Torv, who starred in the TV series "Fringe."

Nancy Mosser Casting has put out an open casting call for extras.

It will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Blackbird Studios on Butler Street in Pittsburgh.

They are looking especially for people age 18 and older who can play police officers, paramedics, firefighters, military personnel, SWAT officers, FBI agents and law enforcement recruits.
