Firefighters Rush To Scene Of Auto Shop Fire In Canonsburg

CANONSBURG (KDKA)- Firefighters rushed to a fire call at a Washington County auto body shop early Thursday morning.

The fire started around 12:30 a.m. at John's Automotive Clinic along Euclid Avenue in Canonsburg.

According to officials at the scene, several tires inside the auto shop caught fire.

Crews used foam and water to help suppress the fire. The fire was contained to an inside section of the auto shop.

The fire was quickly extinguished and crews cleared the scene around 2 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
