Man Arrested For Stalking Woman, Sending Repeated Texts

ELK LICK TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- A Somerset County man is facing charges, accused of stalking a woman.

State police say 48 year old Ernest Kabina of Meyersdale repeatedly texted the victim between January 31 and April 9.

Police say the text messages were excessive and were sent at inconvenient times for the victim.

Some of the text messages also indicated that Kabina was watching the victim's house in Elk Lick Township and following her.

On two separate occasions, state police requested and ordered Kabina to stop the texting.

But over a three month span, the texts continued.

State police have charged Kabina with two counts of stalking and four counts of harassment.
