Young Man Faces Sentencing For Shooting 3 Teens Outside Brashear H.S.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - A young man found guilty of shooting three students outside Brashear High School two years ago is scheduled to be sentenced today.

Earlier this year, a jury convicted 19-year-old Anjohnito Willet on charges of attempted homicide and aggravates assault in the 2013 shooting.

It took the jury of seven women and five men nearly 12 hours of deliberations over two days to decide.

Authorities alleged that Willet shot three students from a wooded area as they left school.

Police said Willet had been attacked in the school in October but refused to press charges, saying "I'll handle this myself."

He was 16 at the time of the shooting, but was charged as an adult.
