NEW ALEXANDER BOROUGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Westmoreland County.

According to police, the incident happened at Keystone Pharmacy near the intersection of State Route 981 and Route 22 in New Alexandria.

Two white men wearing masks approached a pharmacist and a clerk around 9 a.m. Thursday. One was armed with pepper spray, while the other had a handgun.

The suspects fled the scene in a tan or Champagne-colored Toyota in an unknown direction. Police said the vehicle may be a Corolla.
