PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Tuesday was a difficult day in court for the family of murder victims Susan and Sarah Wolfe as they were forced to relive the final moments of the women’s lives.

Relatives have traveled to Pittsburgh from Iowa for the trial of Allen Wade.

Police say Wade in the robbery and deaths of the Wolfe sisters at their home in East Liberty.

Testimony on Tuesday focused on graphic photos of the crime scene.

“It’s the hardest part,” said Kevin Wolfe, the brother of the victims. “I mean, you know what happened, but at the necessary evil of having to sit in the courtroom and look at the injuries, it’s brutal. I wouldn’t wish it on anybody.”

Prosecutors say DNA and surveillance video proves Wade killed both women.

His lawyer claims Wade is the victim of a “sloppy investigation.”
