PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police are investigating after three people were shot in the city’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar section late Friday night.

The incident happened around 10:10 p.m. in the 6400 block of Apple Street.

According to Public Safety officials, at least 20 shots were fired and two men and one woman were wounded in the gunfire.

Police say they found the victims inside a nearby home. They were conscious, alert and talking when paramedics transported them to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Police say they are looking for multiple suspects.

“ShotSpotter alerted our officers there were about 20 rounds fired, and we believe from ShotSpotter that we have multiple shooters,” said Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson Sonya Toler.

No description of suspects was immediately available.

The victims are all in stable condition. They were all shot multiple times, but none of their injuries are considered life-threatening.

Investigators were on scene late into the night collecting evidence and investigating.
