Police say the neighbors waited until the burglar left the house and then attempted to stop him from fleeing. The burglar escaped the neighbors before police arrived on the scene, but officers were able to catch and arrest him. The man was identified as 46-year-old Joseph Ray Schrecengost. Schrecengost has been charged with burglary.
