Steelers Safety Creates Hilarious Pump-Up Videos For Penguins

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – We already know the sports teams in Pittsburgh have mad love for each other, but with Game 5 tonight, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates are ramping up their support for the Penguins.

First, Steelers safety Ross Ventrone took his Pens pride to the next level.

Ventrone has been hard at work creating hilarious pump-up videos for the Penguins and his latest will have you rolling.

The Steelers safety posted the videos on his Instagram account.

In his latest video, Ventrone channels his inner Herb Brooks to pump up the Penguins ahead of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Ventrone is usually dressed in his Phil Kessel jersey, Steelers helmet and full street hockey gear.

After the Penguins beat the Lightning in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final, he took his skills to the next level, hitting the streets of Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile, the Pirates are on a one-day trip to Colorado Thursday for a make-up game against the Rockies.

There was a travel dress code though, instituted by manager Clint Hurdle.

He told the team to wear jeans and a Pens shirt for the journey to Colorado.

The Pirates posted some photos of their attire to Twitter this afternoon.
