HARRISBURG (KDKA) -- In accordance with President Obama's proclamation, Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all United States and Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex, Commonwealth facilities, and all public buildings and grounds in Pennsylvania lowered to half-staff.

This act is meant to "mark respect for the victims of the attack at an LGBT club that took place early this morning in Orlando, Florida."

"Frances and I send our thoughts and prayers to the victims, their families, and the entire Orlando community for the tragic and senseless terror attack and hate crime that occurred early this morning in Florida," said Governor Wolf. "I ask all Pennsylvanians to participate in this tribute on behalf of all who were lost and injured."

Flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on June 16, 2016 per President Obama's proclamation.

Officials across Pennsylvania showed their support for Orlando Sunday.
