Authorities Investigate Suspicious Death Of Jeannette Teen

JEANNETTE (KDKA) -- Authorities are investigating after a teen died in Jeannette this weekend.

Crews rushed to the 660-block of Clay Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

They found the body of 19-year-old Kahlil Parker, who appeared to have been beaten.

Parker was barely alive when found by medics, and died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Mark Taylor, a neighbor, told KDKA Parker mostly kept to himself.

"He was a pretty quiet gentleman, I never had any problems with him," he said.

However, Taylor described a woman who lived with Parker in another light.

"Every so often, I would hear them arguing," he said. "[She had] anger issues, I'd say. She'd get mad real quick."

An autopsy was performed and the results are expected to be released sometime Monday.
