Police Investigating Perry South Shooting

PERRY SOUTH (KDKA) -- Two people arrived at Allegheny General Hospital with injuries early Saturday evening after shots were fired in Perry South.

According to police, the 26-year-old man and 23-year-old woman walked into AGH around 7 p.m. The man had been shot in both his hands, and the woman had injuries that police say are from possible debris or shrapnel.

Police believe the two were shot at while they were driving along Chautauqua Street in Perry South.

The male victim is from the North Side and the female victim is from Jefferson Hills. Both are in stable condition.

Police do not have a description of the shooter. The investigation is ongoing.
