WATCH: Niagara Falls Visitors Can Now Zip Line Above The Water

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Thrill-seekers can now zip line high above Niagara Falls.

According to WIVB, the MistRider zip line carries riders more than 2,000 feet over parts of the falls.

Four people can go at once. You have to be at least seven years old and weigh between 65 and 300 pounds.

"It's not just viewing the falls as you're going down. It's the mist, it's the wind, it's the smells. It's just an incredible experience," said WildPlay Niagara Falls' General Manager Rich Merlino.

It has taken years to get to this opening day point, starting with a request for proposals in 2011.
