PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Police are looking for a robbery suspect who threatened to “shoot everybody” in a downtown bank Friday afternoon.

The robbery happened around 3:45 p.m. at the First Niagara Bank on Grant Street.

According to police, the suspect had a note that said he had a gun “and would ‘shoot everybody.’” He put the note on the teller’s counter and then demanded money.

Police say despite the suspect claiming to have a weapon, no gun was ever seen.

The suspect got away with some money, heading along Forbes Avenue.

He is described as a white male between 40-50 years of age with “very bad teeth.” He had a thin build, facial scruff and was between 5-feet-9-inches tall and 5-feet-11-inches tall.

Police say he was wearing a blue t-shirt and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Pittsburgh Police.
