Video Shows Police Interviewing Mother Accused Of Killing Daughter

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Three-year-old Adrionna Williams is remembered by a haunting video that shows her dancing and smiling.

But on Friday it was Adrionna's mother, the woman accused of killing her daughter, who appeared on video. Many sat in the courtroom and watched, including a concerned citizen who wants justice for Adrionna.

"I want to know if she did it. Thats what I want to know. I want closure, to know I'm wrong. That there's not more to it. Its just cold blooded. I need to know," said Angel Jackson.

On the video, Adrienne Williams finds out about one hour in that her daughter is dead.

She reacts, saying, "No, not my baby," "What do you mean," and "Where's my baby? I'm not accepting that."

But never, during more than an hour after learning her baby is dead does Adrienne Williams cry.

She becomes unresponsive to detectives, but when they leave the room she says: "Why would they have us waiting?"

On Friday, defense attorneys filed for a mistrial, claiming they have come across new evidence related to a dead foster child in New York. The mistrial was not granted.
