Police Searching For Suspect In Fatal Shooting

CLAIRTON (KDKA) -- Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that took place in Clairton on Friday evening.

The shooting took place in the 800-block of Third Street around 7 p.m. Friday evening. A 21-year-old man was shot and sent to Jefferson Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m. The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified the victim as Chazz Williams.

According to police, 21-year-old Dyran Davenport, of Clairton, has been identified as the shooter, and an arrest warrant for Davenport has been issued.

Davenport is described as an African-American man. He is about 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs about 200 lbs.

Anyone who sees Davenport should call 911. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Allegheny County Police at 412-473-1300 or contact Allegheny County Police via social media. Tips can be made anonymously.
