However, more than two dozen cities were rated higher by BankRate.com.

Portland, Oregon topped the list, following by Phoenix and Atlanta.

Pittsburgh ranked 26th overall on the list.

The study looked at factors including home affordability, property taxes, as well as energy and maintenance costs.
