PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University fans across the country will be able to cheer on their teams Saturday.

The Pitt football season kicked off Saturday with a 28-7 win against Villanova. The game also marked a return for running back James Conner, who played his first game back since battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last year and being declared cancer-free in May.
