Photos: Man Says Galaxy Note 7 Exploded, Set Jeep On Fire

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (KDKA) -- "Not the barbecue I wanted on my day off."

After weeks of fiery trouble resulting in Samsung recalling the Galaxy Note 7, a Florida man says he returned home to find his Jeep engulfed in flames.

According to Gizmodo, Nathan Donacher said he left his phone in the vehicle while he bought a desk inside. When he told his 8-year-old daughter and family dog to get back in the car, he realized something was wrong.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control, but the Jeep was totaled.

In a Facebook post showing the fiery incident, Dornacher said while he wasn't positive the phone caused the fire "all signs point that way."

He complained that Samsung hadn't been much help, writing in a comment on September 6, "Samsung has blown me off after over a hour on the phone this morning. Never called back as promised. Guess it is time to get a lawyer. You had your chance."
