OIL CITY (KDKA) — Charges were filed against a man and a woman in Oil City after police found a number of abandoned pets in a home last week.
According to ExploreVenango.com, 40-year-old Terry Shane Bressette, of Sharon, Pa., and 30-year-old Amanda Bressette, of Union City, are facing eight counts of cruelty to animals charges.READ MORE: Kids With Disabilities Get Adaptive Bikes
ExploreVenango.com reports that Oil City police responded to a home on Glenview Avenue on Sept. 13 for a report of abandoned animals. An employee of the landlord told police he needed to go into the house to shut the water off. When he did, he found three cats and four dogs that had allegedly been abandoned. A dog was also found dead in the home, according to ExploreVenango.com. The dog had been locked in an upstairs bedroom.
