State Police Find Missing Autistic Boy In Hermitage

UPDATE 5:45 p.m. -- Emergency dispatchers confirm that Ohlinger has been found.

HERMITAGE (KDKA) -- State police are searching for a missing boy with autism in Hermitage.

Mercer County emergency dispatchers confirm a search is taking place in the area surrounding Sandy Lane.

14-year-old Evan Ohlinger was seen around 10 a.m. walking into a wooded area near Sandy Lane  and has not returned to his home.

He is described as 5'9", 133 lbs, with blue eyes and blonde crew cut hair. He is wearing unknown colored shorts, t-shirt, and black-framed eye glasses.

Police believe he may be at risk of harm or injury.

Anyone with information on Ohlinger is asked to contact police immediately by calling the Mercer County 911 center at 724-662-6110 or 911.
