Reserve Twp. Homes Evacuated Due To Natural Gas Leak
RESERVE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Multiple homes in Reserve Township were evacuated Saturday afternoon due to a natural gas leak.
The leak was first reported around 1:10 p.m. It was affecting homes in the 3400-block of Mt. Troy Road.
The official Allegheny County Twitter account reported around 2:15 p.m. that the fire department was on the scene and multiple homes had been evacuated.
Mt. Troy Road is currently closed to traffic between Hoffman and Kinkura. Reserve VFD also tweeted that power will be interrupted for many residents.
Around 3:30 p.m., officials told KDKA that all residents were able to return to their homes.
