Former Raven Torrey Smith Says NFL Is 'Disrespectful To The Good Men"

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) -- As controversy surrounds Antonio Brown regarding his touchdown dances, former Ravens wideout Torrey Smith is making a statement about the NFL.

Alluding to Giants kicker Josh Brown's arrest related to domestic violence, Smith tweeted, "Celebrating a TD will get you fined but being an abuser can keep the checks coming in."

The NFL placed Josh Brown on paid leave, amounting to his base salary of $1.15 million on Friday. The decision came hours after coach Ben McAdoo struggled to answer questions about how the Giants might discipline the kicker for abusing his wife.

Antonio Brown has has been flagged and fined for excessive celebrations. In Week 1, he was flagged for a "sexually suggestive" end zone dance. Then, against the Chiefs, Brown showed off his moves again, drawing a 15-yard flag and a fine of nearly $25,000.

Some have criticized the NFL for the harsh punishment, calling it the "No Fun League."
