Police Set Up Cameras To Catch Mountain Lion, Get Quite A Surprise

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Residents of a Kansas town were concerned when a mountain lion was allegedly spotted in a nearby park, so the Gardner Police Department stepped in to try and help.

Officers placed two trail cameras in the park to check for activity overnight.

What they found; surprised even them.

They spotted your run of the mill wildlife, like this coyote.

And even this skunk:

This raccoon was nothing to be concerned with:

But that's when things start to get weird.

Apparently someone with a walker and some sort of sharp objects also frequents the park.

Looks like Walter White from the series "Breaking Bad" even stops by.

Is that Santa Claus with a beer?

The next few photographs might look familiar to Pittsburgh residents. But heels?

Apparently the furries have arrived!

And Big Foot!

Okay, enough is enough.

Needless to say, someone recognized the trail cameras and decided to have a little fun at the Gardner Police Department's expense.

The department posted these photos on their Facebook page, saying: "Thank you to the citizens who noticed the cameras. Your effort and sense of humor are greatly appreciated."
