Warrant Issued For Sharon Bank Robbery Suspect

SHARON (KDKA) -- Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a PNC Bank in Sharon.

The robbery occurred Friday just before noon on East State Street.

Police say a black male told a teller to give him all the money in her drawer and not to trip any alarm or he would shoot her. The teller complied and police say the suspect escaped with $3,000.

Numerous calls came in, identifying the suspect as Dana L Haynes.

District Judge Ronald Antos issued a warrant for armed robbery and theft for Haynes Saturday afternoon.

People are urged to call 911 if Haynes is spotted.
