Pens Place Letang On IR, Call Up Ruhwedel
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) –Kris Letang has been placed on injured reserve.
The team made the announcement on their website Saturday morning.
Earlier in the week, the Penguins announced their star defenseman would be out for a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury.

The Penguins have also recalled defenseman Chad Ruhwedel from their AHL affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
In 26 games with the Baby Pens, Ruhwedel has three goals and 10 assists.
After suffering a 1-0 overtime loss to the Kings on Friday, the Penguins will be back in action tonight against the Maple Leafs in Toronto.
