SWAT Surrounds Stanton Heights Home

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police were called to the city's Stanton Heights neighborhood Wednesday evening.

SWAT surrounded the 100-block of Woodbine Street around 9 p.m.

Police say a man in his 50s was being served a warrant when he began threatening suicide.

Officials say he barricaded himself in the home with weapons.

Around 11:30 p.m. he came out of the residence and was taken into custody to be evaluated.
