PLUM (KDKA) – Plum High School students were evacuated due to a bomb threat Thursday morning.

According to officials, the threat was found in the girl’s bathroom around 10:20 a.m.

While the date specifically said “8/8/17”, the evacuation was ordered and the school was being checked out of an abundance of caution.

Shortly after noon, the building was cleared and the classes resumed.

No other buildings were affected.
